To make the grids & flexboxes automatically adapt in size to fit their inside content (in this case, shrink so that each column only takes up the width of the inside content), you need to allow the grids & flexboxes to NOT be set as Display = Block.
In this case, I wrapped them inside a "grid-wrapper" div set to flex. This allows the grids & flexboxes to take up whatever width the content dictates.
